We aim to guide players to become as effective as they individually can by developing personal skills through reverse pedagogy and sensory stimulation (via differentiation and stabilization), recognizing that, ultimately, what matters most is the ability to control the ball effectively.

All top players share this ability first— expressed to different degrees and in their own style. Each athlete has unique characteristics and therefore follows an individual pathway shaped by their context.

1. SET GOALS

If we know where we want to go, we have a chance to make it happen. We structure short-term objectives as steps within a longer journey, constantly checking where we stand — whether ahead of or behind the plan. The purpose of the journey is to improve at least one thing at a time; it is never simply about results.

2. GET TO KNOW

Performance factors. Internal. External.

Internal: Genetics and inherited characteristics play a key role; some can be developed, while others are almost fixed. External: Environment, logistics, finance, master coaching, just to mention a few. Certain factors are relatively easy to manage, while others are more complex. The process begins, concretely, with an interview (with the player, parents, and, if applicable, the local coach) to cover the main topics and gather the initial elements needed to build an operational framework. The second phase consists of a series of on-court tests to better understand the player’s attitude, coachability, and level of specific playing skills. By putting these elements together, it becomes possible to assess whether there is real coherence between the main goals and the current situation; and from there, decide whether — and how — to move forward.

At any stage — for both beginners and advanced players — it is essential to have a clear picture of current ability in order to decide what to do next, especially the priorities to address and how to progress. First, we observe the player’s effectiveness, style of play and carry out a series of tests that provide data and information, including match analysis, on skills, strengths, and potential weaknesses.

From Day 1, we implement a structured program that includes activity planning, parameter tracking, and clearly defined priorities for each phase. Monitoring takes place daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on the focus. The higher the level, the greater the precision and attention to detail — ensuring true professionalism and maximum effectiveness.
